Apostol Kisyov organizes mass training of young bagpipers in Smolyan region

ROZHEN – THREE CENTURIES HISTORY
In 1969-1970, the creator of the orchestra “Sto kaba gaidi” Apostol Kisyov organized a mass training of young bagpipers in Smolyan region, where more than 20 workshops were formed. In 1970, a children’s bagpipe orchestra was formed, which performed for the first time on the National Day of Children’s Book and Arts, celebrated in Smolyan.
In 1971, the young bagpipers and Apostol Kisyov were at the Rozhen Festival, where the photo was made. Provided by the Regional Museum of History “Stoyu Shishkov” – Smolyan.
